We should begin by experiencing what we want to express

caritatis wines

In this grandiose, wild landscape, the exceptional terroir, with its hillsides carved into terraces (restanques), has produced these beautiful, brightly colored wines: intense crimson-purple, golden yellow tinged with green, or pink pearled with blue… Caritatis : it is as if they are imbued with the Light of Mount Ventoux…

Through their aromas and flavors, our wines offer an expression of the generosity and complexity of the terroir, for this is a region in which a wide variety of crops and wild vegetation continue to flourish. Their bouquets join a symphony of fruits, flowers and herbs, growing in the orchards and the Mediterranean garrigue: raspberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, sweet spices, licorice, ripe figs, Morello cherries, black olives, pink peppercorns, peaches, pears, apricots, white flowers, mint, rosemary…

Sometimes these scents will transport you far away, to where the sun is closer to the earth, providing enough warmth for grapefruit, tangerines and exotic fruits to ripen and delight children with their sweet juices. It is as if they are gently whispering in our ear that we are all children of the same Father…

Their wonderful freshness will inspire you to climb the Mountain that, like a mother, protects our grapes against any excesses: the wind, the sun… and man’s greed. Here, nature protects itself against desire, by her harshness…

As the most mountainous of the Ventoux AOP, we wanted our wines to offer a path to the summits, a passage from the visible to the Invisible. We hope you enjoy the climb!

But remember the fox’s words to the Little Prince, “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly”: when you arrive at the top, open your heart, and you will see that indescribable, intoxicating thing shining brightly: Charity.

But be warned, the Light will go out if it is not passed to another!
